Sanzio is a vibrant, family-run Italian restaurant in the heart of Willesden Green, just moments from Willesden Green Tube Station.

Founded by Maria Sundrica in 2010, Sanzio was inspired by the simple, honest cooking of her childhood — summers spent by the Adriatic Sea, where food was fresh, seasonal and made to be shared.

Our menu reflects that philosophy: uncomplicated Italian dishes, prepared with care and quality ingredients, designed to bring people together around the table.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a touch of old-world charm. Here, you can relax with friends over a carafe of wine and antipasti, while enjoying the flavours of Italy — just as they were meant to be.

For over 15 years, Sanzio has been serving authentic Italian food in the heart of Willesden Green — becoming a much-loved local favourite for families, celebrations and relaxed evenings with friends.

At Sanzio, we focus on the very best of Italy’s classics — handmade pizzas, fresh pasta and vibrant seasonal salads — prepared with quality ingredients and traditional Italian care.

Alongside our main menu, we create daily seasonal specials, inspired by what is fresh and at its best. You might discover:

• Pan seared Scallops with crispy Pancetta and Peas and Leek Pure
• Piccata Lemone -Veal Escalope in Lemon and Parsley served with New potatoes
• Pasta or Risotto Frutti di Mare
• King prawns with garlic, white wine and parsley

The Garden Room & Private Dining

Our beautiful Garden Room, open for over 10 years, is now a signature part of Sanzio. Flooded with natural light through our sliding doors connecting , it overlooks our charming patio area and creates a relaxed indoor-outdoor atmosphere.

Here you can:

• Enjoy an aperitivo with calamari, polenta chips or focaccia
• Host birthdays, family gatherings and celebrations
• Dine al fresco (with comfort and protection!) during warmer months
• The space is also available for private events and special occasions.

At Sanzio, freshness is not a marketing phrase — it is our daily commitment.

We prepare our dishes using carefully selected ingredients, sourced from trusted suppliers who share our passion for quality. Our fish and seafood are chosen by our long-standing fishmonger, our butcher supplies only tender, responsibly sourced cuts, and we select fruit and vegetables with equal care.

Our pasta and gnocchi are now made in-house, crafted fresh to preserve authentic texture and flavour — just as in Italy.

The only items in our freezer? Italian gelato and ice. That’s it.

Our thoughtfully curated wine list offers something for every palate and every pocket, from relaxed weekday bottles to special occasion selections.
