I am a wine lover. After all, my family produces wines and wine liqueurs and Proseccos – and I help taste them. There is a story of me at the age of 5, sitting around the table with my grandmother and her friends when they were enjoying coffee and Vin Santo. I was very interested in their tipple and spent a good deal of time dipping my finger in both the coffee and the Vin Santo. I guess I looked a bit the worse for wear and I was taken to see local GP, who told me that if little children drink alcohol and coffee they will grow a big moustache! I believed him and stopped, but as you can guess not for ever!
Good food should be eaten with good wine. Of course very fine wines are expensive so we have come up with a way to let customers try a bottle now and then without breaking the bank. We call it our Wine Club which just means that we bring in a few bottles of expensive, carefully chosen wines every week and we pass them on to you almost at cost. Why? Because we think our food deserves the best wine and we think our customers deserve the best of both.
